How CORONA virus works in our body : Like an intruder deactivating alarm before entering a building , the CORONA virus SARS-COV-2 has been found to have the same advantage entering cells.  A study in nature communications describes how CORONA virus achieve this. The virus produces an enzyme called nsp16, which it then use to modify its messenger RNA cap. In lay terms, messenger RNA can be described as a deliverer of genetic code to worksites that produces proteins. The modification of by the virus serve as a camouflage, the researchers explained. “ Because of modification, which fool the cell, the resulting viral messenger RNA is now considered as a part of cells own code and not foreign,” lead author Yogesh Gupta of the university of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio said in a statement.

Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay is one of the leading names in Bengali Classical literary stage and this novel ‘Rajmohan’s Wife’ is his only work in English.  There are quite a lot of debates about why he didn’t continue writing in English choosing instead to write only in his mother tongue, Bengali. Let’s leave the debate for others and get into knowing about this much-acclaimed work of his. About the Story: Matangini, the character that lends the title to the book, is the wife of Rajmohan, a good-for-nothing brute, incapable of earning a living in honest and proper ways. Matangini, being a woman of virtues, bears his oppressive nature silently.  Madhav Ghose, the heir of a rich family, is the husband of Matangini’s sister Hemangini. Caring for Matangini’s family, he takes t
